OUR BREEDING PROGRAM
Our Breeding Program is based on a careful selection of the most recognized lineages of the breed; with regards to Arabians, (Egyptian lineage (HDD Dualib & Ali Jamaal), Polish lineage (Hipnoza Rach), Spanish lineage (Van Galero & Heroica) and American lineage (Alaadinn Echo & Heroica). With respect to our Pura Raza Española (P.R.E.) breeding program, we develop from a Cartusian lineage of the most celebrated breeders from Jerez (Doctor XXIV y Poeta IV x Flamenco XII 1979).
This careful selection has come to fruition, producing horses with great development, functional, with good movement and athletic abilities. In the quest for athletic and functional horses, we can identify the selection, proper handling and systematic training, as the ingredients that bore this fruit; we can also credit the insertion of Lusitano Blood Lines on our P.R.E. horses and the breeding of the marvelous Hispano-Árabe for sports and dressage.
We are convinced at La Alhambra that functionality is the direct result of selection, proper handling from birth and systematic training as the only solid foundation of a great horse.
